With an invitation to wear white in solidarity for a ceasefire for Gaza, we invite all to start or continue their Gaza Ceasefire Pilgrimage.
As part of her Easter message, our United Church moderator Carmen Lansdowne invited the church to join a global movement of people walking in prayerful solidarity with the people of Gaza. This May, consider supporting peace in the Middle East in the following ways:
- walking 36 km, the length of Gaza
- wearing white to church on May 12 for a peace picture
The pledge sheet for tracking your km is available at the button link below, as well, they will be available at church.. They may be presented and placed on the offereing plate after the end of May.
