Dear Friends,
Last Sunday, I recommended,
The Cure for Sorrow: A Book of Blessings for Times of Grief, by Jan Richardson.
In the closing of her introduction, Richardson writes, “I offer blessings from my path of piercing grief. From the deep shadows of my own sorrow, I offer light to your own path. I offer these lights not to show you the way-you will find the way for yourself—but in the hope that the light will help you perceive the grace that already travels with you. Whatever the cause of your grief, may these lights help you know you do not go alone.
Jan Richardson has written several books, and writes a blog
The Painted Prayerbook. I find all of her works, deeply spiritual, rich, and healing. I trust you will also find some comfort there.
