To members, adherents and visitors to Glen Morris United Church:
It is a great pleasure for us to announce that the Western Ontario Waterways Regional Council has granted Michiko Bown-Kai a license to administer thesacrament at Glen Morris United Church. This follows a request by your Official Board to the Regional Council last January.
As a congregation, we offer Michiko our sincere and hearty congratulations onthis further step to becoming an ordained minister. In the short time Michikohas been with us at Glen Morris United Church we recognize the fine work theyhave performed under extraordinary circumstances. In these seemingly darkdays we have faced the consequences of the Covid19 pandemic, the tragic massacre in Nova Scotia, and ongoing natural disasters. Under thesecircumstances, it is more important than ever for us to recognize achievements and celebrate events of joy together. We look forward to the time when we can worship in person at our beloved
church once again, and also join in the sacrament with Michiko.
Again, we congratulate you Michiko upon this advancement in your calling to perform God’s work here in the Glen, and also throughout the world.

Now thank we all our God, with hearts, and hands, and voices,
Who wondrous things have done, in whom this world rejoices,
Who from our mother’s arms has blessed us on our way,
With countless gifts of love, and still is ours today.
