Our Anniversary Service on Sunday September 26 will be held outside the church, weather permitting. In keeping with provincial step 3 COVID status, masks are optional, however social distancing of six feet between family groups is still necessary. Tours of the church will take place following the service, where masks must be worn whilst indoors. Refreshments will be served outside, where masks are not required.

Should the weather preclude an outdoor service, it will be held in the Sanctuary. Under these circumstances, and for subsequent indoor services during provincial step 3 COVID status, the following restrictions must be followed:

  • Masks must be worn whilst indoors.
  • Social distancing is necessary. Pews will be roped off according to six foot spacing.
  • The maximum number of attendees in the Sanctuary is 25(due to social distancing rules), with others directed to the Robson Room where the service will be video streamed.
  • No collection will be taken. A plate for donations and offering envelopes will be placed at the front of the Sanctuary.
  • Alcohol gel dispensers are placed in the Narthex and at the Heritage Room door to ensure hand hygiene.
  • Sunday school will be held once a month – on other Sundays an activity pack will be given to each child.
  • No coffee time will be held.
  • “Visiting” with others should occur outside.
  • In depth cleaning of the building is carried out before and after services

We look forward to welcoming everyone back to in-person services, however should you wish to “attend” church via Zoom, that option will still be available. Zoom details will be published in our Passing the Peace newsletter.
