Our Easter Sunrise Celebration!

We arrived in the dark at our beautiful marsh-side location for a wonderful Easter Sunrise Service and were greeted by the most amazing bonfire! 40 gathered to be led in word and music by Rev. Michiko Bown-Kai and Lynn McRuer, with guitar accompaniment by Joel Wallman. Coffee/hot chocolate and homemade treats were a bonus for the early morning, but the best part was all of us together, sharing in the story, hearing wild turkeys and Canada geese and spring songbirds and watching that sun try it’s best to peek through. The biggest of thank you’s go to Janice Little for not only offering her amazing property for this event, but planning a wonderful scavenger hunt to add to the fun! It was also wonderful to have our St. George United Church Friends join us!
