So much fun at ‘It’s Midnight Somewhere!’ Party!

Our ‘It’s Midnight Somewhere’ Party was amazing! Sunday Dec 31st from 12:30 - 3:30pm in the Robson Room at Glen Morris United Church saw the gathering of some 40 people to celebrate the start of a New Year. “It’s Midnight Somewhere” had us ringing in 2024 with Dubai. Our party started with accessories of hats and leis and good conversation. Then Sue Harkness, along with the help of husband Brian and son Archie, served a roast beef and ham dinner along with a Dubai style stew and two types of rice side dishes. We experienced Dubai celebrations on the big screen, played games, made take-home party hats, and ended the afternoon event with a 3pm noisy count down followed by live virtual fireworks from Dubai. What a fun afternoon! HAPPY 2024 NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!
