Join us for a most entertaining evening of festive favourites, all performed with the inimitable style of The Jason White Trio on Sunday, December 15, 7:00pm. There may even be a few special guests who perform along with the trio!
Jason's bio reads:
Jason White operates at the forefront of music-making and teaching in Waterloo Region. A co- founder of The Jazz Room (Waterloo), an avid orchestral pianist with the K-W Symphony, Boris Brott, and the Hamilton Philharmonic, and a frequent collaborator with dancers, visual artists, actors, and playwrights, Jason's various performance projects have been seen in many venues running from jazz clubs and art galleries to 2,000-seat concert halls and back yards. In high demand as an educator, he tours all over Canada to adjudicate competitions. He runs workshops at universities, creates youth jazz ensemble programs for Summer festivals, and is a Registered Music Teacher through ORMTA. Jason is an examiner with Conservatory Canada, and holds a bachelor's degree in composition from Wilfrid Laurier University. He also holds a master's degree in contemporary piano performance from the Manhattan School of Music in New York City.
