Canadian Foodgrains Bank

Glen Morris United Church has received a donation from Bill and Martha Sharp from their crop sale in support of the Canadian Food Grains Bank in the amount of $818.00. This is about half of what it has been in the past simply because this was a very poor year for crops. The special collection for Communion on November 27 is also in support of the Canadian Food Grains Bank. This will be the 29th year of church support for this program and the total church donation to date is an astonishing $50,000!

We continue to thank the Sharp family for their donation of time, land and finances with this wonderful global program which allows the Canadian Government to match dollar for dollar.
