This Is Who I Am

We shared the most wonderful news with this faith community yesterday. The news that Rev. Michiko Bown-Kai, who has been in our midst during the past two years, guiding us through a pandemic, a maternity leave and more, is now officially our full-time minister! 

We are all so excited to be sharing this ministry with Rev. Michiko when they start on September 28. We have so much to learn from each other as we dedicate ourselves to this relationship. 

If you have not had the opportunity to read the following CBC article featuring Rev. Michiko, please do so. It is a beautiful example of the amazing leadership we have in our midst. One where we can all say 'this is who I am' and be accepted and loved. 

And so, it is with open hearts and arms that we say "welcome Michiko".
