A Dickens of a Night!

The Events and Fundraising offer a BIG thank you for all those who participated in and supported our 'Dickens of a Christmas' event on Thursday, December 1st! It was a wonderful evening in every way!

Special thanks must go to Bill Labron, Jackie Sandilands, Ross Earnshaw, Don Taylor and Kendra Moore for their dramatic reading of 'A Christmas Carol' and to Lynn McRuer, Ingrid Douglas, Bill Labron, Murray Pearson, Kathy McDougall and Karen Murray-Hopf for their carolling and leading of audience participation. Margaret Fleury's pre-event playing of seasonal favourites set the tone and the post program refreshments prepared and served by the Glen Morris Friends of the Library were delicious.

Special thanks of course to all those who attended - a most appreciative audience. Your support generated $940.00 to be used by both organizations. And as Tiny Tim would say - "God bless you, every one!"
