Report of Nominating Committee 2024
We are pleased to inform you that the Nominating Committee has completed the work of determining the vacancies on church groups and committees for 2025. A Nominations Form has been attached in a document at the bottom of this page or by picking up a paper copy in the Narthex or Heritage Room. A list of Current Full Members and Adherents of the church is also available in hard copy at the church to assist decision making.
The committee has made nominations for certain positions, however additional nominations are welcome from all. For some categories you may volunteer for the position. Should you volunteer for or nominate a person who is not qualified for a position, the Nominating Committee will contact you.
The completed forms must be returned to a member of the committee or placed in an offering plate in the church before December 31, 2024. Please note that all eligible nominees and volunteers for all positions will be presented at the Annual Congregational Meeting (ACM) on Sunday February 9, 2025. The Chair of the ACM will then call for additional nominations from the floor, however those nominated from the floor must be present to accept the nomination at that time.
We ask you to earnestly consider joining a group or committee to enrich the work of our beloved church here in The Glen.
