A ‘Wee Robbie’ Thank You!

What a marvellous afternoon of the pipes, Highland dancing, music, singing together and much laughter! And then we were all treated to haggis bonbons and shortbread! So much thanks goes to Rev. Michiko Bown-Kai and the Cambridge Highland Dance & Company, piper Mike Reid, Lynn McRuer and the Dumfries Community Choir, soloist Bill Labron and Margaret Fleury on piano and MC Karen Elisabeth Murray-Hopf. Thanks also to Archie Harkness for AV support, Sue Harkness ticket taker, shortbread makers Lyanne Lynch, Liz DeGroote, Margaret McPherson, Ingrid Douglas and Marion Morton. But most of all, thanks to all who attended and shared in our ‘Wee Robbie’s Plaid Party’. And after we quite literally 'paid the piper', we were able to make a donation of $300 to the Cambridge Shelter Corporation!
