Our friend William Ratelband has shared an urgent request on behalf of the Brantford Salvation Army for the Paris Food Bank. They are in desperate need of food!  "Please respond to the request as we are not surviving with the current state of things with our economy and how people are struggling". With only two Sundays left in July before we close in August, let's try to get items needed to the church so they may be delivered soon.

Here are the items they are currently most in need of -

  • small soups (all kinds)
  • large soups
  • milk, eggs
  • frozen or fresh meat (we have freezers)
  • potatoes (produce of any kind)
  • large juices
  • peanut butter (sm.)
  • rice/side kicks
  • tuna or canned meat
  • Chef Boyardee or Alphaghetti
  • kids snacks - juice boxes, fruit cups, apple sauce cups, peanut-free granola bars, etc.

In addition, PC Gift Cards are also accepted and they can issue income tax receipts as long as they see the receipt.  "We get vacations but our clients do not have that luxury!  Please respond and help your community!"

With thanks from Brantford Salvation Army
