Dear Glen Morris United Church,
Last weekend’s anniversary celebration was incredible! Welcoming everyone to the church Friday made me feel so grateful for all the people who are a part of this wonderful community of faith. Saturday’s concert went by way too fast - I could have listened forever to such talented musicians. I’m still reflecting with deep appreciation Sunday’s service, thinking about Rev Morgan’s message and the astounding music from the choir. All of this celebrating was rooted in such a deep gratitude for the church and it was something beautiful to experience!
I am hoping you will join me for another joyful Sunday for a joint worship service at St Paul’s United Church. The Grand River Collaboration has spent the past year working to find ways to build the future of our church where we are in a deepened relationship with our neighbouring churches and can support each other’s ministries. What a perfect way to celebrate World Communion Sunday - recognizing that church is not just our small family of faith we gather with on Sundays but a worldwide fellowship.
As the golden hour hues and all its beauty meet us earlier and earlier in the day, may the Peace of Christ be with you
In each and every opportunity you have to reach out and connect with a neighbour, may the Peace of Christ be with you,
Yours in Christ,
Rev Michiko
